Day 1 - Arrival in Edmonton
Edmonton, the capital of Alberta, is one of Canada’s most popular destinations. Upon arrival, transfer on your own to your hotel with the remainder of the day at your leisure. Overnight Edmonton.

Day 2 - Edmonton and the Mall
Edmonton is home to the famous West Edmonton Mall. It’s known as “The Greatest Indoor Show on Earth” with more than 800 stores and services including 10 themed attractions—all under one roof! Visit the mall or shop in downtown Edmonton’s inter-connected shopping centers offering everything from the latest fashions to local souvenirs. Remember: Alberta has no sales tax. Day 3 - Discover Edmonton
Today brings another full day to visit the mall and local boutiques, or set off to explore this sophisticated city that offers more than just excellent shopping. Edmonton is Canada’s festival city, presenting more than 30 throughout the year. Visit one of the city’s museums and attractions like Fort Edmonton Park, Canada’s largest “living history” museum; the Royal Alberta Museum; or, the Muttart Conservatory’s botanical gardens. This evening, indulge in some of Canada’s finest cuisine including, perhaps, some Alberta beef. Overnight Edmonton.

Day 4 - Edmonton to Jasper
Take the better part of the day to conclude your exploration of Edmonton and perhaps grab a bite to eat before transferring by coach from the West Edmonton Mall to Jasper at 4:15 pm. Overnight Jasper.

Day 5 - Jasper at Leisure
Explore Jasper during your full day in this picturesque National Park. Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Jasper is known for its majestic mountain peaks and floating icefields. Popular natural attractions include Maligne Canyon and Medicine Lake. Overnight Jasper.

Day 6 - Rocky Mountaineer: Jasper to Kamloops
Transfer to the rail station this morning and board the Rocky Mountaineer for the scenic all-daylight journey from Jasper to Kamloops. Highlights of today’s journey southwest through the peaks and river valleys of the Canadian Rockies include the 12,972-foot Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, Yellowhead Pass, and the journey along the North Thompson River en route to Kamloops. Day 7 - Rocky Mountaineer: Kamloops to Vancouver
Your journey west toward the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver begins early this morning when you transfer to the rail station for your second day aboard the Rocky Mountaineer. Pay close attention as the scenery changes from the desert-like setting of Kamloops and Canada’s Interior to the lush green river canyons and forest of the Fraser River Valley. A highlight of today’s route is the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Upon arrival in Vancouver this evening, transfer to your hotel (included). Overnight Vancouver. (B, L)

Day 8 - Vancouver
Your exciting rail vacation comes to an end this morning. You may wish to extend your stay in the cosmopolitan city of Vancouver, or transfer on your own to the airport for your return trip home.
