Day 1 Arrival - Calgary to Banff
On arrival at Calgary airport, you will be met and transferred by limousine to the luxurious Rimrock Resort Hotel in Banff for your two-night stay. Relax and enjoy this spectacular two hour journey

Day 2 Banff
Enjoy a three-hour motorcoach sightseeing tour of Banff this morning. Among the highlights are visits to Bow Falls, the Banff Gondola, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at Rimrock Resort.

Day 3 Banff to Lake Louise
A full-day tour takes you through the magnificent Canadian Rockies, with commentary provided along the way. The highlight of your tour is a 25-minute helicopter flight above the six glaciers of Mount Resolute, Mount Cline and the Whitegoat Peaks. You will also view a 900-foot waterfall and see spectacular aqua-green high-alpine lakes. A visit to a local ranch will provide time to discover walking trails and enjoy lunch at your leisure. Your tour ends on arrival in Lake Louise early this afternoon. Overnight at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Day 4 Lake Louise
Enjoy a free day in Lake Louise. Local activities include canoeing, hiking and taking in the magnificent views. Overnight at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Day 5 Lake Louise to Jasper
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Banff and Jasper national parks via the Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Falls. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geological features. Time will be available for lunch (not included). Arrive in Jasper late this afternoon. Overnight at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Days 6 Jasper
Spend either the morning or the afternoon touring Jasper by motorcoach. Attractions include Pyramid and Patricia lakes, Maligne Canyon and the Athabasca viewpoint. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore more of Jasper National Park independently. Overnight at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Day 7 Jasper to Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior, while enjoying the added comforts and amenities of GoldLeaf Service. Watch panoramic views through dome windows and gourmet meals in the GoldLeaf Dining Room. Your journey will take you through the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo mountains. Today's highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops.

Day 8 Kamloops to Vancouver
On today's journey you will again see dramatic changes in scenery as you travel from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and forests surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountains, to the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Overnight at The Sutton Place Hotel.

Day 9 Vancouver Sightseeing
The cosmopolitan city of Vancouver is nestled between the ocean and the Coast Mountains and is blessed with green spaces throughout the downtown core. Select today from a full day excursion to Victoria including Afternoon Tea at The Fairmont Empress, a Whistler Mountaineer excursion to Whistler by rail and motorcoach, or a scenic flightseeing tour of Vancouver. Overnight at The Sutton Place Hotel.

Day 10 Board Alaskan Cruise
Vancouver's beauty is proudly unveiled during today's fully-commentated four-hour tour. Venture through exotic Chinatown and historic Gastown, before arriving at The Vancouver Lookout. Take an exhilarating glass door elevator ride in British Columbia's tallest building offering a spectacular 360-degree panoramic viewing deck. Continue on to nature's splendor, the thousand acres of Stanley Park surrounded by brilliant city and ocean views. After a drive along English Bay Beach you'll arrive at Granville Island Public Market. You will arrive at the Vancouver Cruise Terminal early this afternoon where you board your ship. Day 11 Cruise the Inside Passage

Day 12 Port of Call - Juneau, Alaska
Located at the foot of grand mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, the town of Juneau has the massive Mendenhall Glacier and the immense Juneau Icefields at its back door. Juneau is the place to let your imagination run wild. Explore the lush Tongass National Forest. Visit the rustic shops in town. Or get out and kayak, raft, hike, whale watch, flightsee or fish. There's no end to the adventure because of the long daylight hours. Overnight on Holland America's ms Ryndam.

Day 13 Port of Call - Skagway, Alaska
Take your time and poke into every little store from the Trail Bench to Lynch & Kennedy's Dry Goods. The Red Onion Saloon, with its honky tonk piano and costumed barmaids, is a treasure trove of memorabilia featuring pictures of Klondike Kate, Peahull Annie and other vintage characters. To complete the picture of those rip-roaring days, visit the nostalgic Trail of '98 Museum. The Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park boasts restored buildings and wooden boardwalks that invite you to take a stroll into the past. Overnight on Holland America's ms Ryndam.

Day 14 Glacier Bay Scenic Cruise
As Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Glacier Bay National Park protects a unique ecosystem of plants and animals living in concert with an ever-changing glacial landscape. Bring out the camera and listen for the thunderous sound of a monumental chunk of ice that has split from a glacier as it crashes into the sea. The impact shoots water hundreds of feet into the air. Glacier Bay has more actively calving tidewater glaciers than anyplace else in the world. Overnight on Holland America's ms Ryndam.

Day 15 Port of Call - Ketchikan, Alaska
Built out over the water and climbing weathered stairways, Ketchikan clings to the shores of Tongass Narrows and drapes the mountains with a cheerful air. Take time to explore Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village, Ketchikan's main attractions. Deep water fjords created by retreating glaciers has left behind stunning granite cliffs towering thousands of feet above the sea and countless waterfalls cascading into placid waters. Day 16 Cruise the Inside Passage
Once again, cruise the Inside Passage. Overnight on Holland America's ms Ryndam.

Day 17 Vancouver Departure
After breakfast you will disembark the ms Ryndam and be transferred by private limousine to Vancouver International Airport, where your vacation concludes.
