Day 1- Arrive Toronto - Canada’s Largest City
Toronto welcomes you with open arms as you’re whisked away from the airport to your hotel, the Fairmont Royal York. Enjoy your afternoon and evening at leisure and discover the city’s many ethnic restaurants as well as unique shops.

Day 2, 3 & 4 - VIA Rail Toronto to Jasper
Take advantage of your City Sightseeing Tour to see more of Toronto. Enjoy the sights, the unique shopping and the fine dining in this cosmopolitan city before you depart this evening at 10 p.m. from the main station.

Your hotel is conveniently located directly across the street from the train station. As a Sleeper Touring Class passenger, your first class service starts immediately with special check-in at the station. With top of the line accommodations, your comfortable sitting room converts to upper and lower berths at night. Day 5 - Jasper National Park and Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge
Well known for its gorgeous mountain peaks and floating icefields, Jasper National Park will simply take your breath away as it comes into view. You’ll be met at the train by Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge staff who will bring you to your hotel. A village of cedar chalets overlooking Lac Beauvert, the Fairmont offers luxurious accommodations in a spectacular mountain setting. There are so many activities to explore in this outdoor playground. Will you go hiking, biking or kayaking? Soak in the hot springs? Or ride the Jasper Tramway?

Day 6 - Jasper - Wildlife at its Best
Today you have a Discover Jasper tour. After being picked up at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge you will experience Jasper National Park by travelling the trails of the early explorers and view the park’s unspoiled grandeur. Your tour begins along the mighty Athabasca Canadian Heritage River learning about David Thompson and the valley ecosystem. Hike above Maligne Canyon, with its narrow gorge and limestone walls created by 10,000 years of water erosion and visit a place of mystery and Native legend at Medicine Lake. On your adventure to Maligne Lake, the largest natural lake in the Canadian Rockies, you are sure to see a variety of mountain wildlife. Keep your cameras handy!

Day 7 - Jasper to Vancouver
Enjoy a free morning in Jasper before your afternoon departure. Your package includes complimentary transfers back to the train, continuing on your journey to Vancouver. As the train departs from Jasper, be prepared for the most awesome scenery from the perspective of the domed rail car.

Day 8 - Arrive in Vancouver - City by the Pacific Ocean
You’ll arrive in Vancouver in the morning, ready to start exploring this fabulous, friendly city. Check in to the hotel and leave your bags with the concierge. Then spend the day seeing the sights. The city’s most popular attractions include Gastown, a 19th century neighborhood with cobbled streets and unique restaurants, the Aquarium and Stanley Park. Take the Aquabus or ferry to Granville Island and explore this urban oasis. Or relax in the Sunken Gardens of Queen Elizabeth Park. No matter what you do in Vancouver, you’re sure to find the excitement building as Vancouver gets ready to host the 2010 Winter Olympics!

Day 9 - Depart Vancouver
