Day 1 – Niagara Falls
Arrive in Niagara Falls and check into your hotel, which offers beautiful views of the Falls. The remainder of the day is at your leisure in this choice location. Overnight Marriott.

Day 2 – Toronto
Today travel the short distance north to Toronto, stopping in historic Niagara on the Lake en route. Arrive in Toronto late this afternoon and check into your hotel with the remainder of the day free to explore this cosmopolitan city. This evening’s welcome dinner is at the acclaimed Canyon Creek Grill, a favorite haunt of the great and near-great in Toronto. Overnight Westin Harbour Castle. (D)

Day 3 – VIA Rail’s Canadian
The day is yours to enjoy Toronto at your leisure. This evening we transfer to the train station and board VIA Rail’s legendary Canadian. Settle into your onboard accommodations and prepare for the journey west. This train is a perfect 1950’s time capsule with the famed Vista-dome cars, an old-fashioned dining car and first-rate meals and service. Join your fellow travelers tonight for cocktails in the swank “Bullet Lounge” located at the end of the train. Overnight train. (D)

Day 4 – VIA Rail West to Jasper

Day 6 – Jasper National Park
After lunch, the Canadian begins its ascent of the eastern slope of the Rockies—a sight that is not to be missed. This afternoon the train arrives in Jasper. Day 7 – Jasper-Banff
A stunning day of sightseeing awaits you as you travel to Banff via the famed Columbia Icefield Parkway. Enjoy a ride on the Glacier itself before arriving in the resort town of Banff later today. Overnight Banff. (B)

Day 8 – Banff National Park
Today brings a full day to enjoy Banff beginning with a gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain followed by a visit to the Banff Hot Springs, a natural attraction that has made this village famous. Later tonight, enjoy a special dinner at Le Beaujolais. Overnight Banff. (B, D)

Day 9 – Explore Banff

Day 11 – Vancouver Bound
Depart for Jasper this morning, enjoying a special sightseeing tour north over the Icefields Parkway stopping at Peyto Lake and Sunwapta Falls en route. Enjoy a special lunch before boarding VIA Rail’s Canadian for the westbound journey to Vancouver. This portion of your train trip will feature spectacular views of the Rockies. Day 12 – Vancouver
The Canadian arrives in Vancouver after breakfast. Embark on a brief sightseeing tour of Canada’s third largest city. The balance of the day is at your leisure.
