Day 1-2 Vancouver to Jasper
Relax in your Vancouver accommodation to prepare for your next day's mountain journey. Picture this! Your dining room is set in jade, pink and grey-as reflected in the landscape. The picture window beside your table has romantic views of alpine vistas and turquoise green lakes. The food is delicious.and you're onboard VIA Rail's 'Canadian' dining car! In comfortable overnight onboard accom-modation, you wake up to the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Mt. Robson. Check into your hotel in Jasper and the day is at your own pace.

Day 3-4 Jasper to Lake Louise
An early morning sightseeing excursion to Maligne Lake takes you by boat to the remarkable Spirit Island. On Day 4, we venture with a driver down the Icefields Parkway; a remarkable journey. Amongst the most scenic in the world, this route travels along the Continental Divide following the mighty mountain rivers of the Athabasca, the Sunwapta, the North Saskatchewan, the Mistaya and the Bow River. The Columbia Icefield Glacier Experience takes you on the remnants of the ice age in an Ice Explorer all-terrain vehicle. Learn about the history of mountain and glacier building on this excursion. Continuing south, watch for wildlife on your way to Banff National Park.

Day 5 Lake Louise to Banff
Stroll along the shore of Lake Louise on your leisure morning. This afternoon, a sightseeing excursion takes you through Yoho National Park, stopping at beautiful Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls. It's on to the famous resort of Banff from here.

Day 6-7 Banff to Calgary
A morning sightseeing excursion takes you to the many scenic highlights of Banff. A journey up Sulphur Mountain by gondola car brings you to a 360-degree panorama of the six mountain ranges surrounding this town. Day 7 leads you eastward into the city of Calgary.
