Day 1 - Bonjour Quebec City
Welcome to Quebec City! Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel situated in the heart of the city overlooking the St. Lawrence Seaway. Take the remainder of the day to get acquainted with this lovely city and its chic boutiques and quaint restaurants. Overnight Fairmont Chateau Frontenac.
Day 2 - Quebec City Sightseeing
Today embark on a city tour, taking you past the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel and Place-Royale. This afternoon you will travel along the Beaupré Coast to visit Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré Shrine, Montmorency Falls and the Island of Orléans. This evening, transfer to the VIA Rail station, where you will board the Chaleur, get situated in your private bedroom accommodations and prepare for the overnight journey to Percé. Overnight train
Day 3 - Arrive in Perce
Awake this morning and enjoy breakfast on the train prior to the Chaleur's arrival in Percé. Transfer to your hotel with the remainder of the day at your leisure to enjoy this small village located on the Gaspé Peninsula. Overnight La Mirage.
Day 4 - Perce Sightseeing
Today enjoy a 1 ½-hour sightseeing tour of Percé with the remainder of the day at your leisure. Percé is nestled in a bay between two mountains. The town offers many boutiques and restaurants, and the famous Percé Rock, known for its size and "doorway" opening at one end, is worth a visit. You can walk up to the hole in the rock at low tide! Day 5 - River Cruise
Transfer from your hotel to the Chandler Pier, where your two-night cruise to Montreal will begin. Upon departure, you will cruise between Bonaventure Island and the Percé Rock. Keep an eye out for whales! Many species of whale are usually seen in these waters. Overnight ship.
Day 6 - Cruise the St. Lawrence River to Quebec City
Today you will sail past Tadoussac, the Saguenoy Fjord, La Balbaie where the Fairmont Manoir Richelieu can be seen, St-Joseph-de-la-Rive, L'Ile aus Coudre, Baie-St-Paul, Le Massif, Cap-Tournente Preserve, L'Ile aus Grues, Grosse Ile and finally the Beaupré Coast and Island of Orléans. This afternoon the ship docks in Quebec City, giving you ample time to stroll the streets of the Old Town where artists have their work on display. Overnight ship.
Day 7 - Montreal
Your ship arrives in Montreal early this morning. It is a short taxi ride to your hotel, where you will check in and have time to freshen up before embarking on an afternoon city tour that takes in over 200 points of interest. Overnight Fairmont Queen Elizabeth.
Day 8 - Montreal at Leisure
