Day 1 - Arrive in Vancouver
Welcome to Vancouver, Canadaís third largest city. After checking into your hotel, relax or begin to explore this exciting city on your own. Winter is a special time to visit Canada as the beautiful landscapes are transformed into a snow-covered winter wonderland, At 6:00 pm, join your tour manager and fellow travelers at the hotel for a welcome reception. Day 2 - Vancouver Sightseeing / Train to Jasper
Start the day with a visit to a local ice rink for unique insight into the Canadian sport of curling. Next, enjoy a special guided tour of Granville Market complete with tastings and an explanation of the marketís history and its impact on Vancouverís food scene. This afternoon, see the totems at Stanley Park and visit Gastown and Chinatown before gathering at a local restaurant for dinner. Later tonight, board VIA Railís premier long-distance train, the Canadian, for the overnight journey to Jasper National Park. Overnight train. (B, D)

Day 3 - En Route to Jasper
Today enjoy your private, comfortable compartment and all of the amenities the train offers. Delight in panoramic views of the passing scenery from the glass-dome ceiling in the Skyline Car, experiencing all the natural glory of Canada from snow-capped mountains and icy rivers to frozen waterfalls and snow-blanketed evergreen forests. Upon arrival in Jasper, transfer to your hotel with majestic mountains as your backdrop. After settling in, enjoy an evening treat of símores and refreshments around a bonfire. Overnight Jasper. Day 4 - Jasper Sightseeing
Enjoy a presentation by a local expert about Jasperís wildlife before embarking on an ice walk through Maligne Canyon. This afternoon is yours to explore the town of Jasper. This evening, gather at the hotel for dinner where you will learn about a local delicacy as the chef demonstrates the making of the Beaver Tail pastry. After satisfying your appetite, set off on a guided stargazing tour (weather permitting) to discover why Jasper is designated the worldís largest Dark Sky Preserve. Overnight Jasper. (B, D)

Day 5 - Jasper to Banff via the Icefields Parkway
The Icefields Parkway connecting Jasper and Banff is one of the most magnificent mountain drives in the world, made even more impressive during the winter months when the towering peaks of the Canadian Rockies are blanketed with glistening snow. Relax during a leisurely drive down this famous road en route to the quaint town of Banff. Check into your hotel, the stately Fairmont Banff Springs, and partake in a heritage tour of the historic property. After dinner, learn about the history of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police during a ìMeet a Mountieî presentation. Overnight Banff. (B, D)

Day 6 - Banff Sightseeing
Your exploration of Banff continues with an unforgettable sleigh ride through the Park before embarking on a gondola ride for a birdís-eye view of six snowcapped mountain ranges. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to continue trekking through the Park or take advantage of the many amenities at your resort including a world-class spa, shopping, and bowling center. Day 7 - Banff to Lake Louise
A once-in-a-lifetime experience awaits today as you learn all about and partake in a dog sledding expedition! Say ìmushî as you guide your team of huskies along a specially groomed trail as they skillfully glide over the snow-covered ground. Afterwards, savor a hot chocolate around a roaring fire while you trade tales of your adventure. Head to Lake Louise this afternoon, and upon arrival indulge in your choice of a guided Heritage Lake Shore Walk or ice skating before checking into the hotel. Enjoy dinner and drinks this evening over a special fondue experience and presentation before ending the night with a snow shoe walk. Overnight Lake Louise. (B, D)

Day 8 - Lake Louise to Kelowna
Bid farewell to Lake Louise and take to the road for a scenic drive to Kelowna. After arriving at your hotel, delight in a wine pairing with hors díoeuvres and learn about ice wine and other local vintages of British Columbia during a presentation by the hotelís sommelier. Day 9 - Kelowna to Victoria
Today head to charming Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening on your own. Overnight Victoria. (B)

Day 10 - Victoria Sightseeing
The morning is yours to sleep in or relax and soak in the atmosphere before setting off on an exciting excursion to Butterfly Gardens, a vast enclosure of tropical colors and aromas and home to more than 3,000 butterflies. Then, itís on to beautiful Butchart Gardens. Your day ends with a Farewell Dinner at a family-owned winery with a delectable meal expertly paired with local vintages. Overnight Victoria. (B, D)

Day 11 - Victoria / Depart Vancouver
Head back to the mainland and take your complimentary transfer to Vancouver International Airport for your return flight home or continue your travels in Vancouver and beyond. For home-bound travelers, please do not schedule flights before 2:00 pm. (B)
