Day 1-2 - Vancouver to Kamloops
Explore Vancouver after relaxing into your hotel accommodations. The next morning, board the 'Rocky Mountaineer' and journey through fertile fields of the Fraser Valley, towering peaks of the Coast Mountains and into Canada's semi-arid desert. Breakfast and lunch are enjoyed onboard, while the evening is spent in hotel accommodations in Kamloops.

Day 3 Kamloops to Banff
Today, we journey pass Craigellachie, where the 'Last Spike' of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. As we enter into Rogers Pass with its five train tunnels, we cross over the continental divide to Banff National Park.

Day 4-5 Banff to Lake Louise
A 'Discover Banff' sightseeing excursion highlights this area then head to the Banff Gondola for a spectacular panorama of the town. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own.

Day 6 Lake Louise to Jasper
Travel up the spectacular Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Icefield, where you'll enjoy a ride on to the Athabasca Glacier in an Ice Explorer all-terrain vehicle. During the scenic drive up to Jasper, be sure to watch for wildlife sightings.

Day 7 Jasper
After a morning sightseeing excursion and a scenic cruise on Maligne Lake, the day is free to explore the town's shops and restaurants.

Day 8-10 Jasper to Toronto
Today, you board Canada's flagship train, VIA Rail's 'Canadian', bound for Toronto through prairies, farmlands, forests, lakes and rivers. Canada's diverse landscape is vast and beautiful. Overnight onboard and enjoy 'Silver & Blue' class including dome cars, activity cars, and delicious dining. Listen for the tidbits of Canada's heritage that are shared by friendly attendants.

Day 11-12 Toronto
Experience one of the wonders of the world on your full-day excursion to Niagara Falls. Also enjoy historic Niagara-on-the-Lake before returning to Toronto for your overnight.
