Day 1 - Arriving in Vancouver
Upon arrival at the Vancouver International Airport, transfer independently, by scheduled airporter service, limousine or taxi to downtown Vancouver (transfer not included).
Overnight Vancouver.
Day 2 and 3 - Rocky Mountaineer's 'Redleaf' service from Vancouver to Banff
Your day begins with an early morning taxi transfer (included) to Vancouver's Pacific Central Station to board Rocky Mountaineer daylight train. Travel though the Pacific Coastal Mountains, Hell's Gate and onto Kamloops for the evening. (Breakfast and lunch onboard). Transfer (included) to your hotel in Kamloops for dinner (included) and an overnight stay. The next morning, transfer (included) back to the Kamloops train station where you will reboard Rocky Mountaineer and continue on your journey to the Canadian Rockies (breakfast and lunch onboard). Travel through the South Thompson River area, Kicking Horse Pass and Spiral Tunnels before arriving into Banff. Transfer (included) to your hotel upon arrival.

Day 4 - Discovering Banff
'Discover Banff' on a guided excursion this morning. Highlights include Banff townsite, Surprise Corner and the Tunnel Mountain. Your final stop will be at the Banff Gondola for a ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to browse through Banff's diverse shops and galleries, discover further with an optional tour, or hike one of the local trails.

Day 5 - Visiting Lake Louise and the Yoho Valley
This morning your day takes you past Vermilion Lakes and on to Lake Louise. Highlights along the scenic Bow Valley Parkway include Johnston Canyon, with time to walk to the lower falls, and views of Castle Mountain. You will cross the Continental Divide and enter Yoho National Park (seasonal*) with a visit to Emerald Lake.

Day 6 - Lake Louise to Jasper Sightseeing
Your full day excursion takes you along one of the most spectacular highways of the world - the Icefields Parkway. With cascading waterfalls, broad-reaching valleys, tranquil mountain lakes, glaciers and snow-capped peaks, amazing vistas unfold with every glance. Stopping at the Columbia Icefield, take time to experience an Ice Explorer ride (included) on to the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. From the Icefield, continue touring on to Jasper for a two night stay.

Day 7 - Discovering Jasper
On Day Two, partake in the beauty of Jasper and its surrounding rugged peaks. Your morning includes Medicine Lake and Maligne Canyon. You will also travel to Maligne Lake for a 90 minute interpretive cruise (seasonal*). The afternoon is free to explore and enjoy at your leisure.
Day 8, 9 & 10 - VIA Rail's 'Canadian' from Jasper to Toronto
Late this morning, transfer to the Jasper train station (transfer included) to board VIA Rail’s “Canadian”. This afternoon, leave the peaceful mountain town of Jasper. Your destination is Toronto, the economic center of Canada. Dinner is included this evening onboard the train. Continue traveling across the Great Central Plains of Canada, through Winnipeg to rugged Northern Ontario. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included onboard the train each day.
Day 11 - Arriving in Toronto
Breakfast is once again included onboard the train. This morning, arrive in Toronto, Canada’s most cosmopolitan city. It is a city of contrasts; the soaring glass and concrete towers of the financial heart of the country and the parks, gardens and lakefront boardwalks of a host of communities. It is a cultural storehouse with great museums and galleries. Toronto is also a shopper’s paradise, from the chic boutiques of Yorkville or the lofty glass palace of the Eaton Centre to the fruit and vegetable stalls of the St. Lawrence Market. Transfer via taxi to your selected hotel (transfer not included).
Day 12 - Visiting Niagara Falls
This morning, depart on a full day sightseeing excursion to Niagara Falls. Travel through the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls, one of the great wonders of the world. Highlights of today’s excursion include a lunch buffet while overlooking the waterfall, plus a trip of the world-famous “Maid of the Mist”, (included and seasonal) which travels to the base of the majestic Horseshoe Falls. Also included is a trip along the beautiful River Road, which winds its way along the Niagara Gorge. Stops are made at the Floral Clock and at the historical community of Niagara-on-the-Lake before returning to Toronto.
Day 13 - Departing Toronto
Transfer from your hotel to Pearson International Airport (transfer not included) for your homeward or onward flight by scheduled airporter service, taxi or limousine.
