Day 1 – Rome
Arrive in Rome and meet your driver for your private transfer from Rome Fiumicino airport to your hotel in central Rome. Overnight Rome.

Day 2 – Rome Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on your semi-private panoramic sightseeing tour* where you will get acquainted with all of Rome’s main monuments including St. Peter’s Square, the Colosseum, Forum, Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain. Day 3 – Rome at Leisure
The day is yours to explore the city. Visit some of Rome’s magnificent museums or perhaps take an optional excursion. Ask your rail specialist for details on activities that can enhance your itinerary. Overnight Rome. (B)

Day 4 – Rome to Amalfi Coast by Train
After breakfast, transfer to the rail station for your first-class train journey to Naples (seat reservations included). You will be met on the platform of Naples Centrale rail station by your driver for your private transfer to your hotel. Along the way, enjoy a private 2-hour visit to the ruins of Pompeii. Step back through the centuries to see one of the world’s best examples of Roman civilization as you view the remains of this ancient Roman city buried by the eruption of Mt. Day 5 – Sorrento
Take the day to explore Sorrento, a destination that has been part of the “Grand Tour of Europe” since the 18^th century, hosting Milton, Byron, Keats, and Longfellow. From May through October, the town is alive with people; the remainder of the year, its quiet relaxation is enjoyed by locals and a few knowing visitors. Dinner this evening is at a local restaurant. Day 6 – Explore the Amalfi Coast
The day is at leisure to further enjoy Sorrento or explore neighboring towns like Amalfi, a favorite destination of the British aristocracy; the upscale resort town of Positano; or the charming island of Capri. Overnight Sorrento. (B)
