Day 1 - Arrive in Prague, the Golden City
Welcome to the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague! Upon arrival, check into your hotel with the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore this diverse city that straddles the Vltava River. Admire the domes, cupolas and spires rising across the skyline. Overnight Prague Hilton.

Day 2 - Prague Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring this 1,000-year-old city. See its most famous landmarks including the Old Townís Astronomical Clock, the Hradcany Castle grounds, St. Vitus Cathedral and the Charles Bridge. Take time to browse the shops for hand-cut crystal, stroll along the Vltava River or people-watch in Wenceslaus Square. Overnight Prague Hilton. (B)

Day 3 - Prague / Nuremberg
This morning is at your leisure to enjoy Prague at your own pace. After lunch, drive to Nuremberg to board your river cruise vessel. Before dinner this evening, meet your crew for a welcome reception. Overnight vessel. (B, D)

Day 4 - Bamberg
Your first port of call is Bamberg, a beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your walking tour includes the breathtaking cathedral, the Old Town and the cityís charming streets lined with 18th century mansions. Overnight vessel. (B, L, D)

Day 5 - Würzburg
Known as the ìPearl of the Romantic Road,î Würzburg is surrounded by sloping hills covered with vineyards. A highlight of your day will be a visit to the magnificent Bishopís Residenz, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight vessel. (B, L, D)

Day 6 - Miltenberg
Located on the River Main, Miltenberg is a picturesque Bavarian village featuring beautiful medieval and renaissance houses and the gothic Merchant Hall. Youíll encounter all of this and other cultural and historic landmarks on todayís walking tour of the city. This afternoon, learn how to bake a local soft cookie specialty. Overnight vessel. Day 7 - Rüdesheim / Rhine Gorge / Koblenz
Todayís port of call is Rüdesheim, the perfect example of a Rhine Valley wine town. Visit Siegfriedís Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum for a nice surprise. After a special treat, take advantage of some free time to explore the Drosselgasse and pick up some souvenirs. Back on your river cruise vessel, sail along to the dramatic Rhine Gorge, arguably the most beautiful stretch of river. Pass the legendary Lorelei Rock on the way to the 2,000-year-old city of the Koblenz, situated at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle Rivers. The Deutsches Eck, located on a tongue of land where the two rivers converge, holds an impressive equestrian statue of Wilhelm I. Overnight vessel. (B, L, D)

Day 8 - Cochem
Arrive in Cochem and visit Reichsburg Castle, which sits atop a conical hill covered in vines offering superb views of the town and river valley below. Later, as you cruise the peaceful curves of the river, it will be clear that Moselle is an important wine-growing region, best known for the Riesling grape. Overnight vessel. (B, L, D)

Day 9 - Trier, Germany / Remich, Luxembourg
Trier is Germanyís oldest city and todayís port of call. The famous Porta Nigra is the only surviving fortified gate from the original Roman settlement and still gives access to the town center today. After visiting this historic site, cruise to Remich in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Overnight vessel. (B, L, D)

Day 10 - TGV to Paris
Say goodbye to your crew after breakfast and travel to Metz where youíll board a high-speed train for the journey to Paris. Upon arrival, the remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight Hilton Arc de Triomphe (B)

Day 11 - Paris
Today embark on a city tour to the cityís most popular sights including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, the Opera, the Champs Elysees and the Eiffel Tower. Overnight Hilton Arc de Triomphe.

Day 12 - Paris
Your rail and river cruise adventure comes to an end after breakfast today. (B)
