Day 1 - Venice
Start your vacation with two nights in Venice, Lagoon View room at Hotel Cipriani. (In October at the Bauer III Palazzo)

This morning enjoy a panoramic tour of the city, before an afternoon at leisure - further sightseeing available on request.

Day 3 - Venice and the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Late afternoon departure from Venice Santa Lucia. Your steward welcomes you on board. Settle into your compartment as the train travels through the Italian Dolomites and into Austria. Change for dinner and perhaps visit the bar car with its grand piano for an aperitif. Later, enjoy a delicious dinner in one of the restaurant cars before spending your first night on board.

Day 4 - Krakow
Continental breakfast and lunch are served as the train journey continues through the ever-changing views of the Slovakian countryside and the Tatras Mountains, crossing into Poland around lunchtime. Arrive in Krakow mid afternoon. Two nights in Krakow with a Deluxe room at the Sheraton.

Day 5 - Krakow
This morning meet with your guide and learn about the city of Krakow during a walking tour. The afternoon and evening is at leisure.

Day 6 - Krakow and the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Time for some last minute shopping before we leave Krakow this afternoon. Rejoin the train for a gourmet dinner devised by our chef Christian Bodiguel, before a second night on board.

Day 7 - Vienna
Two nights in Vienna with a Deluxe room at Imperial Hotel. Short city tour with fellow travellers en route to the hotel.

Day 8 - Vienna
Vienna at leisure - optional sightseeing available.

Day 9 - Vienna
Say farewell to Vienna and continue your journey. Afternoon tea is served as you travel though Austria and Germany. In the evening, enjoy a final farewell dinner and perhaps a nightcap in the bar car before retiring to your compartment.

Day 10 - London
Continental breakfast is served before arrival in Paris, for a short stop. Later, enjoy a delicious brunch before arriving in Calais around noon. Cross to England by Eurotunnel shuttle coach and board the British Pullman train for London Victoria. Afternoon tea is served during the journey. Arrive around 5.30pm, where optional hotel stays are available.
