Day 1 - International Flight to Zurich
Embark on your transatlantic flight to Zurich from your U.S. gateway. (International flight not included in tour price)
Day 2 - Welcome to Switzerland
Arrive in Zurich and make your way to your hotel with the remainder of the day at your leisure. You may wish to explore the city on your own, or take time to rest before your special fondue welcome dinner this evening. Overnight Renaissance Hotel Zurich. (D) (B)
Day 3 - Golden Pass Line
This morning travel to Gstaad, where you will board the Golden Pass panoramic train for breathtaking Alpine views on your journey to Montreaux. Take time to explore this legendary town located on the shores of Lake Geneva before continuing to the car-free village of Zermatt, located at the base of the Matterhorn. Overnight Hotel Alex. (B, D)
Day 4 - Explore Zermatt

Day 5 - Glacier Express to St. Moritz
Travel aboard the world-renowned narrow gauge Glacier Express, considered the most charming express train in the world. Day 6 - Bernina Express / Lake Como
Today's rail journey takes you along one of the most scenic railway lines in the world as you travel through the Bernina Pass en route to Tirano, Italy. You'll enjoy striking views of the Swiss and Italian Alps including the famed Morteratsch Glacier. Later, take a ferry across the waters of Lake Como to your lakeside hotel. Complete your journey through the Alps today with a journey aboard the William Tell train. This timeless trip through the Reuss Valley brings you over the St. Gotthard range into the Gotthard railway tunnel, a civil engineering marvel. Day 9 - Discover Lucerne
Today explore the "Swiss Paradise on the Lake." Enjoy an Alstadt (Old Town) walking tour that follows the ancient pathways of the city.
