Day 1 - Depart USA for Amsterdam
Board your international flight for the journey across the Atlantic Ocean. (Air travel not included in tour cost)

Day 2 - Arrive Amsterdam

Welcome to Amsterdam! Relax and unwind after check-in or take a leisurely stroll through the unique city. Meet your tour manager and fellow travelers this evening for an orientation of the city followed by a welcome reception on a scenic canal cruise including dinner and welcome drinks. Day 3 - Rhine Cruise to Heidelberg

Travel via Arnhem to the Rhine Valley. Relax as you cruise along the Rhine River past terraced vineyards and medieval castles to St. Goar. Pass the famous Lorelai Rock, named after a mermaid who lured fishermen to their deaths with her mesmerizing song. In Heidelberg, view the red sandstone castle, one of the most important architectural structures north of the Alps, which towers above Germanyís oldest university town. Overnight Marriott Heidelberg. Day 4 - Schaffhausen / Lucerne
Drive into the enchanting Black Forest and stop for a cuckoo clock-making demonstration. Visit the dramatic Rhine Falls at Schauffhausen, which is the largest waterfall in Europe. Later, arrive in Switzerland with its alpine scenery and enjoy magnificent views across Lake Lucerne. Overnight Grand Europe. (BB)

Day 5 - Lucerne Sightseeing
Walk across the 14th century Chapel Bridge on your morning orientation tour of the city. Visit the solemn Lion Monument, commemorating the massacre of Swiss Guards in 1792. Day 6 - Burgundy / Paris
See the changing landscape as you travel into France, through Alsace and across the Maginot Line. Continue through the Burgundy countryside, one of the country's main wine-producing regions famous for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties, on your way to Paris. Day 7 - Paris Sightseeing
Your expert local guide shows you the city's sights today including views of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe and the magnificent Opera House designed by Charles Garnier and opened in 1875. Ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower by elevator and view the city in all its glory. This afternoon is free for you to see and do what you like in Paris. Day 8 - Paris to London on Eurostar
Travel by Eurostar from Paris Gare du Nord arriving at London St. Pancras in just 2 hours and 15 minutes. Transfer to your hotel with the remainder of the day at your leisure. Overnight Park Plaza County Hall. (BB)
