Day 3: Amalfi Coast drive and an excursion to Ravello
Drive along the Amalfi Coast, one of Europe’s most dramatic shorelines. See the brightly colored houses set on towering cliffs above the
sea, and the houses in the town of Amalfi built between the 10th and 13th centuries; visit the Cathedral of St. Andrew. Then it's on to
Ravello to visit Villa Rufolo, the former residence of several popes, offering perhaps the best view on the coast. Lunch today is at a
local restaurant where you'll get a real taste of Italy – and perhaps have your cheeks pinched by the owner! Return to Positano, and
enjoy free time in the afternoon to find your own special views.

Day 4: Ride a jet boat from Sorrento to the Isle of Capri
Leave the Amalfi Coast and discover the pleasures of lovely Sorrento. There, board a jet boat that will whisk you to the Isle of Capri,
affording wonderful views of its jagged coastline, studded with grottoes. Upon arrival, you'll be picked up by convertible taxi - your

You will really feel like a jetsetter today when you explore the history and natural attractions of the Isle of Capri in a convertible
car. Visit the town of Anacapri, then beautiful Villa San Michele, built in the late 19th century atop Roman palace ruins. Get a noted
professor's perspectives on contemporary Italian society during a lecture at a private villa overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Then spend
the rest of the day as you please on Capri -- enjoying the pleasures of a less-crowded island after the day-trippers have departed.

Museo Archeologico Nazionale showcases the treasured artifacts of Pompeii and Herculaneum. This afternoon, say goodbye to the beautiful
Amalfi Coast and travel first class on the high-speed TAV train to return to Rome. After arriving in Rome, be sure to enjoy the tour's farewell
