Day 1 - Chicago Sightseeing
Welcome to Chicago! Take the day to explore the Windy City on your own. You may wish to take a walk down the Magnificent Mile for world-class shopping, dining and attractions, or visit some of the city's skyscrapers for unrivaled views of the skyline and outlying areas. A pre-tour wine reception will be held to meet your guide and fellow travelers. Overnight Downtown Chicago.

Day 2 - Empire Builder to Glacier National Park
Enjoy a city tour of Chicago before transferring to historic Union Station to begin your rail journey aboard the iconic Empire Builder. Overnight train. (B, L, D)

Day 3 - Arrive Glacier National Park
Enjoy the day on board the train as the Empire Builder makes the way along the legendary route across the northern plain states. The train pulls into East Glacier in the early evening. After arrival, you will check into the rustic Glacier Park Lodge. Overnight in East Glacier. (B, L, D)

Day 4 - International Peace Park Tour
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour inside Glacier National Park and cross the Canadian border to Waterton Lakes National Park. The two parks, are together known as Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, designated as the first of its kind in 1932. They are both also recognized as Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage sites. Lunch is on your own. You may wish to enjoy afternoon tea at the Prince of Wales Hotel, one of the most photographed hotels in the world. (It is recommended you book your afternoon tea in advance with the hotel) Please note: Passports are required to cross the Canadian border. Overnight in Glacier Park. (B, D)

Day 5 - Swiftcurrent Lake Boat Cruise
After breakfast, you will depart for the Many Glacier Hotel along the "Going-to-the-Sun Road." You will also be treated to a spectacular boat cruise on Swiftcurrent Lake followed by entertainment after dinner. Overnight in Glacier Park. (B, D)

Day 6 - Crown of the Continent Tour
A highlight of your day is the Crown of the Continent tour. Your journey starts on the rugged eastern slopes and follows the glacially carved valleys of the St. Mary's region. Continue down the west side of the Park where you may elect to lunch at Lake McDonald Lodge. Overnight in Glacier Park. (B, D)

Day 7 - Glacier National Park /Empire Builder to Seattle
Enjoy your final day of relaxation inside Glacier National Park. After breakfast, you will transfer back to the Glacier Park Lodge and later today board Amtrak's Empire Builder for the trip to Seattle. Overnight train. (B, D)

Day 8 - Seattle Sightseeing
This morning you will arrive in Seattle, known as the Emerald City. After a city tour, you will have time at your leisure before your finale dinner. Overnight Crowne Plaza. (B, D)

Day 9 - Seattle
Your tour comes to an end after breakfast. You may wish to extend your tour independently with a stay in Seattle or continue on for time at your leisure in nearby locales. (B)
