Day 1–Seattle–Board Amtrak’s Coast Starlight
Welcome to the Emerald City! The fun begins this morning as we depart from Seattle’s King
Street Station on Amtrak’s Coast Starlight. Enjoy a full day of daylight rail travel through beautiful Washington State and Oregon. Settle into your sleeping accommodations after a wonderful meal in the dining car. (L, D onboard train)
Day 2–Coastline–Arrive in Los
Angeles–Queen Mary Another full day of daylight rail including the
spectacular coast of California. Enjoy the scenery from the Pacific Parlour Car, complete with afternoon wine tasting. Arrive Los Angeles and check in to the Queen Mary, one time luxury ocean liner, now a floating hotel! (B/L/D on board train)
Day 3–Embark on the
Mariner of the Seas Enjoy an included breakfast aboard the Queen
Mary. Explore this grand ocean liner that once sailed the oceans of the world, or the many
attractions of Long Beach. In the afternoon, transfer to the cruise terminal to board the Mariner of the Seas.This state-of-the-art Voyager Class vessel has the highest public space-perguest ratio in the cruise market.There is something for everyone on this spectacular ship.

Day 4–At Sea
Explore all the ship has to offer as we journey into Mexican waters. (B, L, D)
Day 5–Cabo San Lucas
Once referred to as the “millionaire’s sandbox”, Cabo San Lucas is Mexico’s jewel resort
at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula. Its remote location and unspoiled beauty make this a seaside paradise. Cabo San Lucas is quickly becoming a popular destination for one reason: beautiful beaches. You’ll find an amazing choice of activities here, from snorkeling and scuba diving to surfing and kayaking. There’s something for everyone, even people who just want to lie in the sun and relax. (B, L, D)
Day 6–Mazatlan
An exciting mixture of old and new Mexico, Mazatlán is blessed with a harbor of natural
beauty. The neighboring mountains rise as a majestic backdrop for this scenic city. As Mexico’s first major resort community, Mazatlán owes itscontinued popularity to vast unspoiled beaches, first-class resorts and friendly people. Take in the charming and historic sights on a tour of the city. Do some shopping at Mazatlán’s Golden Zone, home to Mexican and Indian handicrafts. It’s a great way to celebrate the colors, songs and dances of ancient and colonial Mexico. (B, L, D)
Day 7–Puerto Vallarta
This once-sleepy fishing village became a popular resort after The Night of the Iguana was
filmed here in 1964. Nestled on the 28-mile curve of Banderas Bay, Puerto Vallarta has
steadfastly held on to its character. Red tile roofs and rows of balconies, spilling over with
colorful bougainvillea, still line its cobblestone streets. A pleasure for both the eye and the camera.Take advantage of a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with our intelligent, finned friends at the Dolphin Adventure Center. You’ll be given an introduction to
these friendly mammals. Then you'll actually have the chance to swim with them in a specially designed pool. (B, L, D)
Day 8 & 9–At Sea
Relax as we cruise back to Los Angeles.(B,L,D)
Day 10–Disembark–Hollywood Tour
Upon arrival, we disembark the Mariner of the Seas and enjoy a day of sightseeing with a
celebrity tour of Hollywood! Check-in to your deluxe hotel accommodations for the
evening and enjoy a festive dinner with fellow passengers. (B, D)
Day 11–Los Angeles–Coast Starlight
This morning board Amtrak’s Coast Starlight for our northbound trip to Seattle. Enjoy the
beautiful California coastline and Amtrak’s onboard hospitality. (L, D on board train)
Day 12–Pacific Coast–Arrival in Seattle
Enjoy a final day of daylight rail and the scenery of Oregon and Washington as we make our way home to Seattle. Approximate arrival time is 8:30pm. (B, L, D on board train)
