In 1939 Canadian Pacific put out a nifty brochure titled, appropriately 'Glorious British Columbia' and this heading summarizes perfectly our view of this beautiful Province. This Fall, we have a truly glorious holiday that features train travel; time in Seattle 'The Emerald City', Vancouver, and Whistler; and, a cruise aboard the ms Westerdam to sunny San Diego.

The holiday begins with a scenic ride to Seattle aboard the Coast Starlight train. After a stay in this delightful city, travel north to Vancouver along the Puget Sound aboard the Talgo train to Vancouver, continuing on to Whistler. With two full days, you have plenty of time to enjoy the European-style cafes, shpos and plenty of outdoor activities. Return to Vancouver aboard the Whistler Mountaineer for a stay in this coastal cosmopolitan city before boarding your Holland America cruise ship for the leisurely journey south to sunny San Diego. Onboard there is as much, or as little to do as you like and we cannot imagine a nicer way to travel home. We have included dinner one evening in the superlative Pinnacle Grill as well as a farewell cocktail party. Ports of call include Storia, Oregon, Los Angeles, CA and Catalina Island.

Day 4 - Talgo to Vancouver / Whistler
Depart the hotel this morning and travel by train to Vancouver aboard Amtrak's special Talgo train. Upon arrival, a special treat awaits with lunch at the Sylvia Hotel before traveling north to the resort town of Whistler. Overnight Whistler. (B, L)

Day 5 - Whistler at Leisure
Today is at leisure to enjoy Whistler's variety of optional activities including world-class golf, walking, hiking, and biking. Overnight Whistler.

Day 6 - Whistler Mountaineer to Vancouver
Today we travel from Whistler to Vancouver aboard the Whistler Mountaineer train, traveling along Howe Sound and past Britannia Falls--a stunning beautiful trip! Overnight Vancouver. (AT)

Day 7 - Vancouver Sightseeing
Today's city sightseeing includes Stanley Park, Chinatown, English Bay and Robson Street as well as a visit to Queen Elizabeth Park. Overnight Vancouver. (B, D)

Day 8 - Cruise to San Diego
