Day 1 - Arrive San Francisco
Arrive in San Francisco and check in to your centrally-located hotel. The day is yours to explore the City by the Bay with iconic sights like the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, Ghiradelli Square and Fisherman's Wharf. Overnight San Francisco.

Day 2 - Yosemite National Park
Explore beautiful Yosemite National Park on a full-day excursion to Yosemite Valley and the Giant Sequoias. Highlights include El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Falls and Inspiration Point plus a drive to a lesser-traveled part of the Park for the chance to hike in the evergreen forest. Overnight San Francisco.

Day 3 - Coast Starlight to Seattle
Spend the day touring San Francisco at your leisure before your 9:25 pm train ride aboard Amtrak's Coast Starlight to Seattle. Overnight train.

Day 4 - Arrive Seattle
Spend the day aboard the train socializing with other passengers, reading or taking in the beautiful views of the Pacific coastline. The Coast Starlight is scheduled to arrive in Seattle around 8:45 pm. Overnight Seattle.

Day 5 - Explore Seattle
Spend the day exploring the Emerald City with the Ride the Ducks of Seattle tour. Travel aboard a WWII landing craft where you will tour Seattle by both land and water. The tour starts on wheels as you take in Seattle's waterfront with highlights such as the shopping district and Pike Place market. Then dive into Lake Union as the craft floats on wheels continuing the unique tour of the city. Overnight Seattle.

Day 6 - Board Cascades to Vancouver
Rise and shine for your 7:40 am departure aboard Amtrak's Cascades toward Vancouver. Arrive in the cosmopolitan Canadian city around 11:40 am with the remainder of your day at leisure to explore the Gateway to Alaska. Overnight Vancouver.

Days 7-8 - ms Zaandam for Alaska
Begin your 12-day Alaskan adventure when you transfer on your own to Canada Place and board the ms Zaandam. Spend time meeting fellow passengers, explore the ship or take time to bask in the gorgeous scenery with two days at sea. Overnight ship. (1B, 1L, 2D)

Day 9 - Ketchikan, Alaska
Ketchikan is one of Alaska's most unique ports. It is most famous for its rich native culture, salmon fishing, and scenic Misty Fjords. Overnight ship. (B, L, D)

Day 10 - Juneau, Alaska
Today's port of call is Juneau, Alaska's capital city. It is home to the Juneau Icefield. Embark on an exciting shore excursion or take advantage of an abundance of shopping opportunities. Overnight ship. (B, L, D)

Day 11 - Skagway, Alaska
Step back to the days of the last great gold rush in the historic Alaskan city of Skagway. Overnight ship. (B, L, D)

Day 12 - Glacier Bay
The port of call today is beautiful Glacier Bay, located in southeastern Alaska. Glacier Bay is famous for having the most actively calving tidewater glaciers in the world-the area has 16 glaciers, 12 of which reach shorelines and have calved to produce icebergs. Overnight ship. (B, L, D)

Day 13 - At Sea
Spend the day at sea as you sail through the Gulf of Alaska en route to Seward, Alaska. Keep a look out for whales and other marine wildlife. Overnight ship. (B, L, D)

Day 14 - Seward/ Denali
Arrive in Seward, Alaska around 8:00 am. Disembark the ship and transfer to Denali National Park. You'll arrive around 5:30 pm. Check into your hotel with your evening at leisure. Overnight Denali National Park.

Day 15 - Denali National Park
Explore Denali National Park like you never thought possible with the Denali Tundra Wilderness Tour. This unique tour takes you 60 miles into the park, increasing your chance to see incredible wildlife as well as majestic Mt. McKinley up close and personal. Overnight Denali National Park.

Day 16 - Denali National Park
The day is yours to explore Denali at your leisure. Take in the gorgeous mountains, beautiful terrain and see if you can find the vast abundance of wildlife that inhabit the park such as a moose or a goat. Overnight Denali National Park.

Day 17 - McKinley Explorer to Anchorage
Your time in Denali comes to an end as you board the McKinley Explorer around 12:15 pm. In this opened dome railcar you will be able to see the gorgeous Alaskan landscape in a completely unique way as you travel to Anchorage. You're scheduled to arrive at 8:15 pm with the remainder of your evening at leisure. Overnight Anchorage.

Day 18 - Tour ends in Anchorage
Your journey comes to a close this morning as you check out of your hotel and are transported to the airport as you fly home out of Anchorage.
