Your vacation starts in Paris, where you will be met by your Local Host, who will welcome you to the city and give you a Paris destination guide, so you can get to know the city immediately. Your sightseeing the next day with a local expert includes the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral, where you’ll see its 13th-century, stained-glass windows, and the Louvre, home of Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa (Louvre replaced with Seine cruise on Tuesdays). Plus, you’ll receive VIP access and skip the lines, and you’ll be escorted throughout both—ensuring you won’t get home and realize you missed an important part of the museum or church. In London, your exclusive sightseeing tour with a local expert includes VIP access to St. Paul’s Cathedral, with its deep history and famous dome. Get the inside story and learn its fascinating history before heading to Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guard. In both cities, you’ll have a free day to explore on your own and to take optional excursions. Perhaps take a romantic dinner cruise on the Seine River in Paris and enjoy a pre-theater dinner and musical in London’s West End. Maybe visit the British Museum in London and the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. Itinerary
Day 1 - International Flight to Paris
Embark on your transatlantic flight to Paris from your U.S. gateway. (International flight not included)
Day 2 - Paris, France
Bienvenue - welcome! Your local Host will help you maximize your time in the "City of Light."
Day 3 - Paris
Morning guided sightseeing takes you to Notre Dame Cathedral, where Napoleon was crowned emperor in 1804, to admire its amazing 13th-century, stained-glass Rose Window. Pass the Latin Quarter, Les Invalides, the Opéra, Place de la Concorde, and Arc de Triomphe. Drive by the Seine River with its beautiful bridges, and stop to take photos of the iconic Eiffel Tower from one of the best panoramic viewing points. Also enter the world’s most visited museum, The Louvre with its modern glass pyramid, to see Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and other treasures (Louvre replaced with Seine cruise on Tuesdays).
Day 4 - Paris
Your Local Host can suggest wonderful options for the day—like a visit to Musée d’Orsay, where to try tasty French onion soup, a walking route through the fashion district, and much more.
Day 5 - Paris & London, England
Travel to London by high-speed Eurostar train (Standard class).
Day 6 - London
Morning guided sightseeing includes all of London’s famous landmarks. Drive past the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben; Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married; Whitehall’s mounted horseguards; the Prime Minister’s Downing Street; and Piccadilly Circus. Take photographs of the London Eye, the giant Ferris wheel situated on the riverbank, and the Shard, the tallest building in Western Europe. Visit St. Paul’s Cathedral (except on Sundays). Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece with its world-famous dome is an iconic feature of London’s skyline, and the awe-inspiring interior holds fascinating stories about its history.
Day 7 - London
Your Local Hosts will be pleased to give you some interesting suggestions for the day. For example, join a river cruise to enjoy unique views across London from the Thames—Big Ben, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, the Shard, HMS Belfast, and much more.
Day 8 - London
Your vacation ends with breakfast this morning.
