“We did a 13 day tour of America's Great National Park in 2019 and were extremely happy with everything about the tour. Great hotel accommodation, great food, great tour guide, nice bus, excellent hotel check in/out and baggage handling. I can not cite one instance where we thought VBR put profits over the comfort of travelers. I have to especially mention the tour guide - very knowledgable and went out of his way in making us all comfortable.
We have booked a tour this summer to Alaska.

“Tour was very well run, organized, and included a variety of daily activities, including free time. The tour leader was so experienced, had a wealth of information. Was courteous and patient and seemed to be enjoying himself along with us. I highly recommend traveling with Vacations by Rail.

“Booking the trip was easy and fast with Ryan's assistance. The trip itself was wonderfully organized, with Joan our Tour Director keeping us well informed throughout the trip. Hotels were great, food was delicious, and Dale our bus driver was wonderful. I'd do this tour again. The step-on guides for Yellowstone and the Black Hills added a lot of great information. The only change I would make would be to take a bedroom instead of a roomette if traveling with two people. The roomette was good during the day but extremely cozy at night.

“This was an amazing trip. It was so organized and every detail taken care of. They even went above and beyond on little things! The tour director was awesome - knowledgeable and a people person! And our bus driver was just as great! They made a good team together - which served us patrons in the best way. Highly recommend VBR!
