On the Lunenburg and Mahone Bay excursion, you'll discover Nova Scotia's South Shore including the charming towns of Shad Bay and West Dover. The Lunenburg coastline is the setting for pirate and rum-running stories in the region's folklore. The area does, however, have a history of fishing and boat-building. In fact, Lunenburg has Nova Scotia's largest fishing fleet. Your tour continues with a drive to Mahone Bay, known for its churches along the shore.
The alternate excursion takes you to Peggy's Cove. This quaint village stands on granite rock high above the Atlantic Ocean and offers stunning views of the Nova Scotia coastline.
