Wilderness Adventurer

Catering to just 60 travelers, the Wilderness Adventurer offers a unique cruising experience through Alaska's waters. The ship - likened to a floating sea lodge - is owned by UnCruise Adventures, whose mission is to provide enriching, inspired voyages that highlight aspects of destinations that may be missed on larger cruise lines. Travelers enjoy a casual atmosphere on the ship and plenty of opportunities for adventure using the ship's kayaks, paddleboards and inflatable skiff boats. All cabins are located above deck and a great variety of amenities come standard.

On-board your ship

The Wilderness Adventurer is ideal for navigating Alaska's Inside Passage, navigating the straits, sounds, arms and inlets with ease and expertise. The onboard library is the perfect place for travelers to grab a novel to read, a movie to watch in their cabins or a game to play with others. There is a comfortable lounge complete with a large flat-screen TV, plush seating and Wi-Fi Internet. Of course, the favorite offering is the hot tub, located on the upper deck in a covered indoor/outdoor room. Yoga mats are provided for morning stretches out on the deck. In the evenings, special guests make presentations, or the guides entertainment. For a real treat, guests can immerse themselves in the underwater world by watching the underwater bow camera and listening to the hydrophone. With a crew-to-guest ratio of just 1:2 1/2, every need is catered to quickly.

Cabins

Up to sixty guests can be accommodated for each departure, with thirty well-appointed cabins to choose from - all of which are located above deck and include windows to look out upon the passing arctic scenery. The beauty of the Wilderness Adventurer is that great amenities come standard. Each cabin is equipped with a flat-screen television, DVD player and readily accessible power outlets. Hairdryers are provided, as are complimentary toiletries.

Navigator -  Either two twin-size beds or one queen-size bed make up the accommodations for Navigator cabins. Much like the Single Navigators, these rooms are accessible from the interior and feature fully equipped en suite bathrooms with a shower and large view windows to take in the scenery.

Trailblazer - These rooms are located on the main level of the ship and are the most abundant. Up to two guests can bunk in these rooms, which include either two twin-size beds or one queen. Private en suite bathrooms, including showers, are found in each cabin. Large view windows set above the bed(s) offer natural light and wonderful views.

Pathfinder - The most unique of the room offerings comes in Pathfinder cabins, which are accessible from the ship's outside decks. Double beds are the standard offering, making the rooms ideal for up to two guests. En suite bathrooms with showers and sizable windows complete the offerings.
