About the tour

Unfurl tales of romance and strife as you explore the storied pasts of two of France's most recognized destinations, Paris and Normandy. Built upon the shoulders of centuries past, both regions present endless intrigue in their notable sites and lesser-seen locales - all of which are yours to behold during this six-day journey. Your time in France begins and ends in the beautiful city of Paris. Soak in incredible views of the City of Love from the second level of the Eiffel Tower and while touring its famed landmarks on a panoramic city tour. After getting your footing in French culture, board a train for a trip to the country's eastern shores, to Bayeux in Normandy. Bayeux has many layers to experience, with its medieval roots and rich WWII history. Get a taste of the stories that lie beneath the surface of this scenic city through an intimate walking tour and a full-day excursion to infamous D-Day sites. Of course, no visit to Normandy is complete without a visit to Mont Saint-Michel, a tidal island that houses an imposing 500-year-old abbey. The tour guides were very professional and informative. Accommodations were very nice. Whenever we arrived somewhere a driver or taxi was waiting for us. The choice of sites was great.
