Dunedin's Taieri Gorge Railway follows the trail of 19th century gold miners to the gold fields of Central Otago. We spend a fully commentated journey crossing wrought iron viaducts and passing through hand-carved tunnels in carriages dating back to the 1920s. Refreshments are provided on the train and there are opportunities for photographic stops.
