Black Sea Cruises

A marine connection between Eastern Europe and Asia Minor, the Black Sea is a place where cultures collide and archaeological treasures are brought to life. This body of water touches the coastlines of six countries - Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia and Turkey - and is a treasure trove of breathtaking scenes and historical relevance. Cities that date back millennia border the deep blue water of the Black Sea, and mosques, palaces and ancient attractions are all within easy reach. A true highlight of any Black Sea cruise is Istanbul, with its amazing bazaars and rich history that is apparent through its architecture and attractions. Other enticing port cities include Batumi in Georgia, UNESCO World Heritage Nessebar in Bulgaria, the “Russian Riviera” of Sochi and Trabzon, Turkey, which is located at the beginning of the Silk Road. While the cities and sites of the Black Sea stand alone in their ability to pique the interest of travelers, the waterways that connect to the Black Sea allow for an elevated touring experience.
