Arising early today, you get to know the city on a Mumbai by Dawn tour. Getting an exclusive peek into the real life of the city, you'll see men and women bargain with the wholesale fruit and vegetable vendors, visit Sassoon docks to see 10 to 20 tonnes of fish arrive in the city. See the bread-boys carrying fresh bread and visit the flower and fresh vegetable markets. You'll discover the treasures of Mumbai's community that you'd miss at a regular hour.

Transferring to Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, you board the luxurious Deccan Odyssey and begin your enchanting journey to Vadodara, the royal city of the Gaekwads. When you step aboard the Deccan Odyssey, you'll discover the wonders of the golden age of travel, while enjoying every modern amenity you need. Following a relaxed breakfast onboard this morning, you'll arrive at Vadodara, the royal city of the Gaekwads. You'll visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park to see the magnificent Jami Masjid monument and the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum. Enjoy a fascinating folk dance performance as you sample a wide array of delicacies from the royal kitchens at the Lukshmi Vilas Palace. Returning to the train for a lavish dinner onboard, you can then relax with a drink in the bar car and reflect on your first day.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before arriving at the regal city of Udaipur. Take a tour of the City Palace and Crystal Gallery, followed by a magical boat ride on the tranquil waters of Lake Pichola. A three-course lunch, including dishes from all over the world, is served back onboard and later in the afternoon you can choose to relax in your cabin or in the bar car, or go for a walk through the charming streets of the Old City. Dinner is served onboard the train this evening, after which you can relax and get to know your fellow passengers.

Take your time over your breakfast this morning before arriving at Jodhpur, the 'Blue City'. Enjoy the intriguing sights of this colorful city, including Jaswant Thada, the cenotaph that serves as the resting place for the royal Rajput family of Marwar. After a visit to the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, you'll end the day with barbecue delights in its enchanting courtyard before returning to the train.

Arriving in the historic capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, after breakfast, you spend time getting to know the 'Pink City'. Explore the forts and palaces of this fascinating city, and take an intriguing walk through the colorful bazaars, watching the locals go about their daily business. Then you'll return to the train for a relaxed dinner onboard, enjoying regional and international dishes, paired with fine wines from all over the globe.

This morning, the Deccan Odyssey takes you to the magical city of Agra. Marvel at the wondrous views of the iconic Taj Mahal as you visit this UNESCO World Heritage site. One of the new Seven Wonders of the World, this breathtaking building is made of white marble with beautiful inlay work and marble screens. You'll then visit other architectural treasures of the Mughal era like Itmad Ud Daula and the Agra Fort where you can indulge in some souvenir shopping. Dinner is served back onboard the train this evening.

After breakfast, the luxurious Deccan Odyssey rolls into Ranthambore, where you'll begin the day with a mesmerizing exploration. Lunch is served onboard the train where you can relax for a while and later in the day, head out for a safari in this pristine wilderness. Feel like a maharaja as you travel in an open vehicle, trundling through the national park looking for elusive Bengal tigers, hyenas and other amazing wildlife. Dinner is served back onboard the train where you can relax with a drink and reflect on your incredible day.
