There are several optional excursions to choose from, which allow you to experience different aspects of the town and the region itself; however, you are welcome to spend the day exploring at your own pace. There are an abundance of natural sites in the region, including a waterfall and a national park, for those hoping to get out in nature. The group departs Skagway this morning and makes its way to Fraser via the historic White Pass Train, a line that dates back to the late 1890s. Aboard the vintage rail cars of this narrow-gauge train, take in the mountain peaks, bridges, waterfalls, tunnels, gorges and glaciers that make this area so picturesque.
