Al Andalus

The longest train on the tracks in Spain, the Tren Al Andalus was the choice of the English royal family when they traveled through southern Spain in the 1920s. Today, this luxury train is still fit for royalty with its decadent décor and sumptuous furnishings, giving modern riders the same air of opulence experienced during the Golden Age of rail travel.

Traveling through the South of Spain in style, this historic train follows a route between Sevilla and Granada, unveiling the colorful destinations and rich heritage of Andalusia. Relax surrounded by old-world charm on what is called the "Palace on Wheels," enjoying a nod to the past in the bar car and a restaurant car built in the 20s and lovingly restored to their original glory. Have a drink in the vintage bar and watch the route unfold while soaking up the ambiance of the four lounge cars. Including round-the-clock service by the attentive crew, authentic tastes of Andalusia, and a route filled with incredible stops to explore with expert guides, a journey on the Tren Al Andalus presents a world of Spanish elegance.

Luxury accommodations on the Tren Al Andalus

Grand Class Room

Cozy Grand Class cabins are wood paneled throughout and evoke an era of classic train travel across Europe. Two single beds for the night-time become armchairs by day, providing you with a comfortable living area. Each cabin has a private bathroom with a shower and all the bathroom amenities, a wardrobe for storage and individual climate controls, giving you everything you need for an atmospheric overnight stay.

Deluxe Suite Room

Relax in luxury in the Deluxe Suite - a comfortable room with a double bed by night that folds into a plush sofa by day. Wood paneling lines the walls, leading to large picture windows. Watch the scenery pass from your regal armchair and enjoy inclusions such as a wardrobe and a minibar. Each en suite bathroom is equally luxurious and features a hydromassage shower that doubles as a steam room.

Dining on the Tren Al Andalus

The four lounge cars onboard the Al Andalus include two restaurant cars, Alhambra and Gibrafaro, where breakfast is served each morning, some lunches in the middle of the day, and dinner in the evenings. Your waiter will serve you directly at your table and you can choose between buffet dishes and an al a carte menu.

Dishes reflect the cuisine of Southern Spain and give you a chance to sample local foods, expertly prepared by your onboard chef. Dishes are paired with local wines and liqueurs, and tea and coffee is served following your meal.

The Al Andalus Route

Traveling onboard this historic train, you'll journey from Seville to Malaga, beginning in epic Seville. The capital of Andalusia, Seville is a city on a grand scale, with architecture that spans the ages, with an authentic Spanish heart.

Granada, Ronda, Cordoba, and Cadiz, all feature on your stop offs along the way, providing diverse scenery for you to marvel at from the comfort of the train, including the Sierra Nevada and the dramatic coastline of the Atlantic Ocean.
