Luxury accommodations on the Deccan Odyssey

Deluxe Cabins

Wood paneling, large picture windows and upscale touches create a restful retreat in the Deluxe Cabins on the Deccan Odyssey. These rooms are tastefully designed to marry timeless luxury with modern amenities like air conditioning, Wi-Fi and LCD TVs. Guests can choose from a double bed or twin beds, with both cabin options including a drop-down table and chair and a full-size ensuite bathroom.

Presidential Suites

Opulence comes standard in the train's four exclusive Presidential Suites. Featuring more than double the space of a Deluxe Cabin, these private rooms feature a comfortable living area with a soft sofa, table and chair and a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed. Additionally, the Presidential Suites feature two private ensuite bathrooms. Soak up the atmosphere with a 24-hour personal attendant, and enjoy air conditioning, Wi-Fi and movies on your LCD TV.

Upscale dining on the Deccan Odyssey

Experience the sights and tastes of India in the two onboard restaurant cars, Utsav and Wavar. Both cars are lavishly designed and decorated to reflect the country's rich heritage. Soft sofa seating and beautifully decorated tables set the tone for elegantly plated table service meals. Menus offer local and international dishes and are composed of locally sourced ingredients. Each meal is designed to reflect the region through which the train is passing, capturing the essence of where you are, while also offering tastes from home. Each dish is served by stewards in traditional Maharashtrian attire and accompanied by complimentary soft drinks, bottled water and juice. Wine, beer, spirits and further drink options are also available.

The bar car is stocked with a world-class selection of wines and liquors and is a relaxing place to unwind after a day of sightseeing in unique destinations. Called the Gateway, this car is cozy yet sumptuous, providing the perfect backdrop for a pre-dinner aperitif or a post-dinner cognac.
