Train de Charlevoix
Shrouded in romantic scenes, following along 100-year-old tracks and offering all the modern amenities guests could desire, the Train de Charlevoix is a juxtaposition of new and old, a showcase of those things man-made and untouched by the hands of time. Join the train for an incredible expedition through Canada's Charlevoix region, and uncover picturesque scenes along each of the route's 77 miles.
Passengers can begin their journey aboard the Train de Charlevoix in either of the bookend destinations - Quebec City or La Malbaie - or join the expedition in the middle in the quaint town of Baie-Saint-Paul. It takes just under 4 hours to complete the route in full, or riders may travel on the rail segment that fits their travel goals.
Each carriage aboard the Train de Charlevoix is impeccably maintained with bright and sunny interiors. Plush seats - two on each side of the aisle - sit aside expansive picture windows. Standard seating on the train comes in the form of comfortable fabric-covered seats that face forward. These chairs include armrests and flip-down trays. Groups traveling together may wish to upgrade to Espace Groupe seating, which offers a pod of four chairs around a central table. These seats offer more legroom and fantastic views both to the destination and back.
Guests are welcome to bring their lunches aboard the train to enjoy at their seats, and there are light offerings available for purchase aboard the train. Additionally, a full drink menu is available to riders, including offerings like coffee, tea, soft drinks, fruit juices, cocktails, wine, and beer.
