Since this trip, riders have continued to be enthralled by the tranquil scenes surrounding the tracks on the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad. Riders may select from either a one- or a two-hour round-trip excursion based on their travel preferences.
The railway's season begins annually in late May and runs through the fall when the trees burst into their fiery hues. On pleasant days, the conductor keeps the windows and the doors open on the train, so passengers can hear the rustling of the leaves and the sounds of the lake as the route unfolds.
