Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park is brimming with scenery, activities,
history, and culture. Amid the High Sierras, nearly 1,200 miles of
meadows, giant sequoias, and wilderness areas await.
The park is best known for its iconic waterfalls, from the
1,430-foot cascades of Yosemite Falls to the orange glow of
Horsetail Fall at sunset, and countless others of all sizes. Visit
the falls on a hike through one of the area's many trails.
Yosemite's many lakes offer opportunities for fishing and boating,
while on the ground visitors can experience the park's beauty
through hiking and bike trails or on horseback.
As one of the oldest protected areas in the United States, no
matter how you spend your time in Yosemite you're sure to enjoy the
magnificent beauty of one of America's greatest treasures.
