The places we visited were varied, interesting and enjoyable. The hotels were of good standard and well located. The train journeys themselves were a bit mixed. We enjoyed the Gotthard Panorama Express. The routes on the Centovalli Railway journey and from Zermatt to Grindelwald were rather complex, each involving four trains and so multiple changes, which proved tricky when travelling with a lot of luggage. We would have appreciated more detailed information in advance about these sections of the Itinerary. Mostly, we did not regret taking a First Class Rail Upgrade although it is important to note that the Gottard Express Railway is already First Class only. We did have a major problem with our Digital Swiss Travel Passes. For some reason they were declared Invalid on our first day of usage, and we had to abort our excursion to Mount Rigi midway, which was very disappointing. We spent a good deal of time working to resolve this issue with the Swiss Rail Company, who advised us there had been a problem with the issuing, and we effectively lost a day’s use of our Travel Pass and our trip to Rigi. Overall, this Tour was a pleasant part of a bigger European Trip for us, offering many interesting experiences across Switzerland, but complexity of routes and sparsity of information did detract somewhat from our enjoyment.

Fantastic trip through varied parts of Switzerland all with beautiful scenery. I went with my 83 yr old mom and we both had a great time. We booked 2nd class but think we would have been better to pay the extra for first class as some of the trains were crowded and we would have appreciated more if a couple of the hotels were a bit nicer. Highlight was definitely Wengen!! Amazing town and region!!
