“Wonderful experience, beautiful trip. The accommodations, food, service and cleanliness were exceptional. Only downside would be the second day was a bit long (12hrs) due to stopping for other train/freight traffic.
Our driver Tom from Brown Coach was so great and personable. We were traveling by motor coach the whole trip, taking us from hotel to train and train to hotel, each train ride lasting 2-3 hours. We had a seat rotation to make sure there is no fighting for the "best seat". Tips: - Italian food in Boston Day 1 (we had Famiglia Di Gorgio, Incredible!)
But everything worked out great. The train system was very easy to use and to move from city to city. The cities we stayed in were fabulous (Zermatt was my favorite). The scenic train rides were all fabulous (my favorite was the Excellence Class on the Glacier Express, yes the upgrade is worth it).

“I enjoyed this trip overall. There are some things that should be corrected by the company. It would be nice to have the final itinerary sooner to allow for better planning. Also, a welcome meal and a farewell at the hotels should be enough. The other two meals took away from free time and a chance to explore.
“The train trip from Chicago to Whitefish, MT was a difficult ride. Staying in the coach seats was really uncomfortable. I believe that there was a defect in the seat I was in; a bent hard wire on the right side was irritating my leg. My husband had a VERY difficult time sleeping, or getting any rest in those seats.
