I was very disappointed in this trip. We had a 16 hour delay which was not the fault of the railway but they were very poor about what was happening, why and what we could expect. Further they advertise the views from the dome cars yet there are insufficient seats for the number of passengers so I was unable to spend much time there.

The scenery is AMAZING. We enjoyed the accommodations. The schedule was a bit hectic with transferring from one place to another and tours in between. Some of the hotel stays were only one night, so you find yourself arriving late afternoon or evening and then checking out the next morning for another tour. If there are any train delays, it can rob you of the precious little time you have to maintain the hectic schedule. I’d go back for the awesome scenery but for the cost of our Deluxe upgrade, I may choose to venture out on my own.

Would not do it again. Traveling by rail is not my cup of tea. Too much of having to figure out transportation from one spot to another

We received no notification or alternate plan options due to the forest fire in Jasper. The fire impacted the towns hydro and electricity. Very unprofessional service from the tour company.
