Service was great. Three folks taking care of our car were really good. Food was pretty good. Good mix of tour guide" and downtime. Understand the need for the very early morning start times, but even with that, it would have been nice to arrive at the station in the evening at an earlier time."

Our experience on the Rocky Mountaineer was exceptional. The service, food, views, and comfortable seats were all first rate. The two days on the train were long days but filled with great memories.

Spectacular scenery, great commentary, personable staff, good food & drink, well organized?-what more can you ask for? We had one small complaint: we requested rooms with king beds, but did not get that. Minor inconvenience.

We had a wonderful family vacation on the Rocky Mountaineer with our son and daughter and their spouses. It's rare that we can all be together in one place. The views were was the service and the dining! We were extremely satisfied. Recommend it for family groups. We booked the Beautiful Banff Rail and Drive. I only wish we had more than just one night in Banff and Lake Louise and Calgary.

The company did a good job of coordinating the entire trip. The first part of the trip on the Rocky Mountaineer was truly awesome (a bit expensive, but worth it). The only complaint we had was regarding the last half of the trip when we were on The Canadian from Jasper to Toronto. We were in the next class down from Prestige class, where our friends were. The room we were put in was at the opposite end of the train, a long long walk to get to there area. There were cars of the class we were in next to the Prestige class cars, I think Vacations By Rail should have made an effort to get us closer. That said, all other communications and planning by them was well done.
