The Indian Pacific's route through Australia

Spend up to four nights crossing the Australian continent aboard the Indian Pacific. The namesake route for which the train is most famous travels between Perth and Sydney via Adelaide or vice versa. This is a route of dramatic scenery and vivid hues, presenting views of the Great Victoria Desert, the Barossa Valley and the Blue Mountains, amongst other astounding natural features. Each day provides a chance to immerse yourself in Australia's wonders as the train stops in the gold rush town of Kalgoorlie, visits the ghost town of Cook and ventures into Australia's first heritage-listed city, Broken Hill.

Riders are also welcome to join the Indian Pacific on shorter journeys, perhaps traveling from Perth to Adelaide or Adelaide to Sydney - with both routes available in reverse, over three days and two nights.
