Denali National Park
Visiting Denali National Park in Alaska is an experience to remember. Home to
towering Mt. Denali, the tallest peak in the United States, this
park is a playground for hikers, mountain bikers, climbers, and
photographers. The untouched terrain here is ideal for looking for
Denali's "big five" - moose, Dall sheep, grizzly bears, wolves, and
caribou - and offers a spellbinding setting for a summertime
vacation.
Admire Mount Denali: Also referred to as Mount
McKinley, it's the highest mountain peak in North America at a
height of more than 20,000 feet above sea level.
Untouched Wilderness: Depending on the time of
year, there are various activities you can enjoy in the park. In
colder months, you might enjoy seeking the Northern
Lights, dog sledding with Iditarod mushers, and viewing
glaciers in all their snowy wonder. For warmer months, enjoy
adventurous river rafting, ATV tours, and plenty of hiking.
