For a whirlwind tour of the Yorkshire Dales and Moors, this tour was packed full of history, Yorkshire scenery, good conversation, and attentive tour management. Our tour manager, Rosie, was a local from Harrogate who loved her homeland and went beyond the call of duty to attend to everybody's needs, large or small. Her jovial personality translated over to those people who served us in our delicious meals, bus driver, additional expert guides, high teas, room cleanup and towel changes, etc. Rosie even helped us navigate the myriad of elevators that took us to our morning and evening meals and daily morning tour meeting places. The Gisborough Hall Lodge is a hidden jewel tucked away into the beautiful Yorkshire countryside with trees to match those in an Arboretum especially by the front door parking lots.
