Day 7 - Niagara-on-the-Lake/Toronto Sightseeing
We begin our journey to Toronto today, pausing in the quaint
town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. This destination is beloved for its
charming tree-lined streets, 19th-century buildings and its
welcoming atmosphere. There are intriguing shops to explore and a
beautiful theater, the Shaw Festival Theater, which is home to a
world-famous festival annually. Niagara-on-the-Lake is set in the
heart of Ontario's wine country, so there are plenty of places to
taste wine, as well.
We continue to Toronto and on arrival, a guided tour
welcomes us. Toronto is one of the most global cities in all of
North America and embodies the idea of the melting pot. Our
excursion presents a sampling of the city's most famous landmarks,
including the enormous CN Tower and the Rogers Centre, home to the
Toronto Blue Jay's baseball team (entrance to the stadium is not
included). This evening, enjoy the diversity of the city through
its cuisine. Toronto is brimming with award-winning eateries and a
culinary scene that is forever growing and evolving. Overnight
Toronto.
